Clear Flight Solutions will also concentrate on European airports with RoBird®, aiming to serve surveillance drones to defense markets worldwide.
Canadian UAS (Unmanned Aircraft Systems) service provider AERIUM Analytics has apparently announced that it has acquired a technology from Clear Flight Solutions. The acquired element – a technology and intellectual property (IP) portfolio, is inclusive of the firm’s RoBird technology and also covers the ornithopter drone RoBird®, apart from all the related patents.
Richard Hawker, President, AERIUM Analytics, has been quoted to state that the company is perfectly suited to use RoBird, and is looking forward to continue working with Clear Flight Solutions, together, bringing forth the combination of the best software, hardware, and artificial intelligence in order to build unmanned technology. Both the companies will continue to deliver environment friendly wildlife management and highly upgraded geospatial intelligence solutions worldwide, Hawker added.
Echoing similar sentiments, Alain le Loux, lead investor in Clear Flight Solutions and Head, European Operations, Cottonwood Technology Fund, says that the firm is rather thrilled to partner with AERIUM, given its capability to commit substantial R&D resources for enhancing the capabilities of the RoBird technology further. The acquisition paves the way for Clear Flight Solutions to retain its focus on bettering customer services, Loux claims, adding that now Clear Flight Solutions will also concentrate on European airports with RoBird®, aiming to serve surveillance drones to defense markets worldwide.
