As the COVID-19 pandemic engulfs the globe, the demand for personal protection equipment such as gloves and masks for the health care providers at the forefront tackling the disease in hospitals and urgent care centers has drastically transcended supply. In a bid to tackle the situation, Florida-based Globaltex Fine Linens will help meet the need for masks and support the cause for maintaining a safe and disease free environment across the United States.
The company has forayed into making washable masks for assisting the people who need it the most. As per sources close to the matter, Globaltex Fine Linens will begin production on April 25th, 2020 in order to dispatch urgent consignments for highly hit areas. In the light of the current situation, the company will manufacture around 3.5 million masks a month, making itself one of the biggest masks producing companies across Florida.
Globaltex will not only be providing masks in the time of crisis but will also be generating more jobs for people in need. The company has kept all employees on payroll and has also added additional 15 employees to its staff. The company has already donated masks to several first responders, hospitals and urgent care facilities across the U.S.
As per sources close to the matter, the masks manufactured by Globaltex will be reusable and machine-washable. The masks will be comfortable and efficient as they will be made from 100% cotton sateen with a thread count of 300.
The company has set a retail limit of up to 12 orders per person, and 3 retail options are made available to buyers. Retail pricing for the masks starts at USD 10 per unit and goes up to USD 72 for a dozen unit. Based on upcoming production, the wholesale pricing will also be available shortly.
