Global SaaS solutions provider simPRO has reportedly announced that it has launched a connected and intelligent solution “simPRO IoT” for supporting service-based enterprises to achieve end-to-end asset maintenance. The product effectively delivers software and hardware solutions for remote asset monitoring and data integration for the sake of field service management jobs and operations.
simPRO IoT can be installed into assets or infrastructure for a minimal value and requires a minimum duration for retrofitting. The product provides a range of unique sensor solutions for efficiently monitoring temperature, environment, and water. It also serves as a great cost-effective solution for smaller trade operations as well as larger business establishments.
According to Rob Ormond, the Chief Technology Officer at simPRO, IoT is a solution that is highly revolutionizing the maintenance and service industry. The solution focuses on socially distant repairs and remote monitoring in a world that emphasizes on remaining socially distant. Ormond has further stated that this new product offering will put the power back in the hands of its customers, adding that, the company supports field service businesses to shift from the conventional reactive maintenance to condition-based maintenance, thus checking major downtime and possibly extending the infrastructural lifespan.
Aaron Guidice, the Director of Sowga Commercial, has stated that simPRO’s IoT has a range of up to two kilometers depending on the territory and sensor location, adding that the product immediately starts monitoring and sending collected data through a cloud gateway, upon installation on an asset. He has also stated that the product keeps a record of site-specific information and asset-history, furnishing customers with a 360-degree solution.
Sowga feels proud for adopting an innovative approach to Facilities Management and believes that using simPRO-like technologies is fundamental to the company’s success witnessing that simPRO IoT seamlessly connects with its elemental simPRO system, added Aaron.
